SKEW SISKIN Begins Recording New Album

July 18, 2006

German female-fronted rockers SKEW SISKIN have issued the following update:

"We are in the recording studio at this time. As it looks, we're recording around 16 songs, but only 10 to 12 will make it on the CD. Not that we are too lazy no, we have tons of spectacular guitar riffs and song ideas lying around. But sometimes less is more, and we want to present the best of the best on this upcoming album.

"Everything's cool and Randy [Black also of PRIMAL FEAR] is hard at word to finish recording the drums. The new lineup jells great together and we have to take care not to record 50 different versions of each song."

Check out a video clip of Randy Black laying down the drums for the new SKEW SISKIN CD at this location (Quicktime required).

SKEW SISKIN last year announced that they were canceling all their shows so that frontwoman Nina C. Alice could receive medical treatment for an infection.

SKEW SISKIN's latest CD, "Album of the Year", was released in November 2003 through ulfTone Music. The band is currently seeking a new label home.
